Work With Me

This isn't standard counselling.
Most psychology appointments give you fifty minutes, a framework, and a treatment plan. That's not what this is.
This is a space where someone holds the whole picture — not just the symptom you came in with. Where the exhaustion that might be burnout, or perimenopause, or unidentified ADHD, or all three at once, actually gets the attention it deserves. Where you don't have to choose which part of yourself to bring.
I work with women who are carrying a lot, who have often already tried the standard pathways, and who are ready for something more genuinely personalised.

What we work on

  • The exhaustion that doesn't make sense on paper
  • Feeling like your brain works differently — and wanting to understand how
  • Health changes that are affecting who you are, not just how you feel physically
  • The slow erosion of knowing what you actually want
  • Burnout that's gone deeper than a holiday can fix
  • The sense that you've been performing fine for so long you've lost track of what fine actually feels like

If you're not sure whether this is right for you, reach out. That question is exactly what a first conversation is for.

What to Expect

Start with a free 15-minute call
Before anything else, let's just talk. This isn't a consultation or an assessment — it's a relaxed conversation to see whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment. Just a chance for you to get a feel for how I work, and for me to understand a little of what's brought you here.

If it feels right for both of us, we'll book your first session from there.

Your first session — up to 90 minutes, $260

The first session is longer because it matters. This is where I get to understand your whole picture — not just the presenting problem, but the full context of your life, your history, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. You won't leave with homework or a treatment plan. You'll leave feeling genuinely heard, probably for the first time in a while.

Ongoing sessions — 50 minutes, $240

Ongoing sessions are fifty minutes — enough time to go somewhere real without either of us watching the clock. I'm fully present in that time. No notes being typed while you're talking, no half-attention. Just a focused, unhurried conversation that moves at your pace.

Some people come fortnightly, some monthly, some just when they need it. We'll find a rhythm that works for you.

Fees

Free 15-minute introductory call.
First session — up to 90 minutes — $260
Ongoing sessions — 50 minutes — $240

Medicare rebates are available if your GP has issued a Mental Health Care Plan, making ongoing sessions more accessible.
If you have private health insurance it's worth checking with your insurer as some extras cover psychology.

Not sure if you can make it work financially? Mention it on our introductory call — I'd rather have that conversation than have cost be the thing that stops you reaching out.
